Formentera in the autumn months? Why not?

Formentera in the autumn months? Why not?
1 mese fa

The smallest of the Balearic Islands proudly holds the title of having the most beautiful sea in Spain. With its fine sandy beaches, Formentera has been the favourite destination of countless tourists since the 1970s, who have chosen the island for a holiday of peace and relaxation. In addition to its stunning sea, Formentera boasts unspoiled Mediterranean nature, thanks to the commitment of its residents and authorities to protecting the environment.

Undoubtedly, the liveliest months are July and August, coinciding with the holidays of most Italians, making the island quite crowded and, for some, even hard to enjoy. If you're lucky enough to choose your holiday period freely, you should consider the autumn months of September and October.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by a very pleasant climate, with milder temperatures than in August, yet still perfect for sunbathing and diving into the crystal-clear sea, without the oppressive heat typical of high summer.

Alongside the better weather, the crowds of tourists will have almost entirely disappeared, making it much easier to enjoy the island in all its glory. In September, trendy beach clubs say goodbye to the season with closing parties that can stretch well into October. To celebrate the end of the summer, famous DJs are often invited to perform in the island’s coolest venues, bringing the nights alive with house, dance, and many other music genres... something for everyone!

And last but not least: the prices. September marks the beginning of the low season, and many holiday rentals significantly reduce their rates. It’s also easier to find low-cost flights to the island – Ryanair, for example, often offers unbeatable fares to encourage travel... hard to say no!

There are plenty of reasons to come in September... all that’s left is to pack your bags. We’re waiting for you!

Stay tuned! #casayentorno
